A drama so intense that the entire universe will feel its power is about to unfold; waiting in the wings of the approaching global chaos is the Man with a Plan, the one whom the world will welcome as their savior and resolve its many problems.
God warns of a world leader who will soon rise and grow in power. The Coming World Leader has 33 titles in the Old Testament and 13 in the New Testament one which is commonly known as the Antichrist. 1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son".
This name introduces to us one of the most solemn and ominous subjects in the Word of God. It brings before us one of the persons in the Trinity of Evil. The "Antichrist" this word has a double significance. Its primary meaning is one who is opposed to Christ; but its secondary meaning is one who is instead of Christ. The word signifies another Christ, a pro-Christ, a pretender to the name of Christ. He will seem to be and will set himself up as the true Christ. But he will be the Devil’s counterfeit. Just as the Devil is an Anti-God and the adversary of God, he usurps the place and prerogatives of God, demanding worship; so the Son of Perdition will be Antichrist—not only the antagonist and opponent of Christ, but His rival: assuming the very position and prerogatives of Christ; passing himself off as the rightful claimant to all the rights and honors of the Son of God.
Throughout history, there have been many Antichrists, there have been many evil and cruel world leaders during the past 2000 years beginning with several of the Caesars such as Nero and including men like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Saddam Hussein. Evil men do not necessarily appear to be evil in their time, but can seem to be saviors and benefactors widely and enthusiastically hailed by the populace, as Hitler was in his early days of power. While such men have indeed come under the full control of Satan, so also have their constituents, else they would not succeed in doing such damage in the affairs of men. The cooperation of the masses is required to give them unquestioning, blind allegiance. But the timing was not right for the Antichrist to show himself. Scripture teaches Antichrist to be a political, religious, individual, yet to come in the future, who is opposed to God and God's Christ and God's saints. Although the only places in Scripture the name Antichrist is used are I and II John (I John 2:18, 22, 4:3, II John 7), the Bible is full with instructions regarding the reality we call Antichrist. The key passages are Daniel 7, 8, 11; Matthew 24; II Thessalonians 2; and Revelation 13, 17 and 18 -- where Antichrist is referred to as a beast, a little horn, a false Christ, that wicked one, and the man of sin.
This Antichrist is described in detail in Scripture. In the book of Daniel’s (9:27), Israel signs a treaty with the head of the government of Unified Europe to establish a Jewish temple in Jerusalem and resume the ancient sacrificial system of worship there. The man who signs this treaty for Israel will be unique, he will be believed by many to be the long awaited Messiah of the Jews. Bible prophecy calls him the Antichrist.
We are told that the end time delusion is so strong that it will deceive the whole earth into accepting the antichrist. This lie of the end times will even fool many who think they are now Christians.
Performing miracles, Antichrist will establish himself and validate his claim as God's anointed. This is the emphasis of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2; men have always performed miracles to establish their authority, presenting them as the credentials of their divine appointment. Moses did in Egypt. Elijah did on Mount Carmel. Jesus Christ and His apostles did. So will Antichrist. Revelation 13:13 says that the second beast "doeth great wonders..." and verse 14 that "he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast."
Matthew 24:24 indicates the same thing: "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." This is the teaching of 2 Thessalonians 2:9, "even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders...." The works of Antichrist will be the works of Satan, who has power beyond the natural ability of man.
These will not be just magic tricks of talented men like Harry Houdini and David Copperfield, but amazing deeds that simply defy explanation in human, scientific terms. Strengthening the claims of Antichrist will be nothing less than the superhuman power of the devil himself.
The prophet Daniel in chapter 11 describes the Antichrist: "He shall not regard the God of his fathers, YHWH,nor the desire of womennor love any god, for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his place he shall honor the god of fortresses,(the Hebrew phrase is, Ala Mahozine), and he shall honor a godwhom his fathers (the Jews), did not know (literally, an alien god)."
Jesus stated: “I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.” John 5:43
A fascinating title given to Satan is Beelzebul, commonly translated as “Lord of the Flies.” Which is derived from Ba‘al Zebûb 'Lord of” Zebûb', As seen in 2 Kings 1.2–3,6,16 where King Ahaziah of Israel, after seriously injuring himself in a fall, sends messengers to inquire of Ba‘al Zebûb, the god of the Philistine city of Ekron, to learn if he will recover. Zebûb being a Hebrew collective noun for ‘fly’ could also be referring to 'Lord of things that fly' which brings a deeper meaning to Paul’s description of Satan as being the “prince of the power of the air, and of the aerial host.”
King David recognized this fully when he wrote:“For who in the sky (the atmosphere), shall be ranked with Jehovah, who among the sons of the mighty is like Jehovah?” (Psalm 89:6)
Scripture explains that Satan and his host of fallen angels rule over this planet, it also details a hierarchy of demonic echelons. The Bible explains where Satan currently resides, and connects him with forces in the atmosphere. . . Paul says “we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers, with wicked spirits in high places, literally, "in the heavens" "in the aerial regions" (Eph.6:12) Hence Satan is called "the prince of the power of the air" "the prince of the aerial host" (Eph.2:2)
A fascinating article from the Associated Press was published on Tuesday May 13, 2008: VATICAN CITY- There could be alien life forms and believing they exist isn't contradictory to having faith in God, the top astronomer at the Vatican said in an interview. In the Vatican newspaper piece, titled "The Extraterrestrial Is My Brother," the Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes said the expansiveness of the universe means there could be life on planets other than Earth.
Monsignor Corrado Balducci a Vatican theologian and an insider close to the Pope. He has been featured on national Italian television numerous times to express that extraterrestrial contact is a real phenomenon and not due to psychological impairment.

A renewed interested in the phenomena of UFO’s is beginning to catch the interest of both Religious and Scientific Institutions.

The world is on the verge of experiencing what the Apostle Paul called the great apostasy in Chapter One of 2 Thessalonians, "Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion (apostasia) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the (Third) Temple of God (in Jerusalem), proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you this?"
Antichrist (satan incarnate) the devil himself who is called Prince of the Power of the Air, Lord of those that Fly, the intelligence behind UFO manifestations and alien (fallen angels) encounters will become evident as more and more information is released to the public.
Antichrist will counterfeit prophecy:
In the Second Coming of Christ,
- Christ arrives at the end of the great war of Armageddon.
- The war will end in fire as Israel enemies are burned up.
- Jesus comes with His holy ones, His raptured saints.
- Christ sets up an era of peace as ruler of the earth.
- Christ builds the Millennial Temple of Ezekiel 40
The Coming of Antichrist,
- Antichrist arrives at the end of a great war of Gog and Magog.
- The war will end in fire for the enemies of Israel.
- Antichrist comes with his fallen angels the aliens in UFO’s
- Antichrist will set up an era of peace under global dictatorship.
- Antichrist allows the building of the Third Jerusalem Temple
Antichrist System:
We have made a lot of technological advances in recent years, which make it possible for Antichrist’s System to be implemented. Imagine a future in which your every belonging is marked with a unique number identifiable with the swipe of a scanner; where your refrigerator keeps track of its contents; where the location of your car is always pinpoint-able; and where signal-emitting microchips storing personal information are implanted beneath your skin.
The Antichrist's widespread power will be derived at the expense of individual human liberties. He will force "all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (666)" (Rev. 13:16-18).
Some people believe implantable microchips will become the Biblical Mark of the Beast the fulfillment of prophecy. The same way Social Security numbers were voluntary before becoming mandatory, the biometric chip implants is being introduced to our society. Makers of implantable microchips claim the procedure will continue to be voluntary. But a report written by Elaine M. Ramish for the Franklin Pierce Law Center says: "A mandatory national identification system via microchip implants could be achieved in two stages: Upon introduction as a voluntary system, the microchip implantation will appear to be palatable. After there is a familiarity with the procedure and knowledge of its benefits, implantation would be mandatory."
Scripture states: “Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days,” (Rev11:9)
The Eye in the Sky Total Surveillance will become Antichrist’s System; with cameras on almost every street corner in the United States, every ones activity can be monitored. Satellites, Cable and Internet communications has it possible for "every eye to see" every event instantaneously as satellite television can be sent around the globe in a fraction of a second.
It is written in Rev. 13:7b, and authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation". I believe this refers to the Antichrist (Satan incarnate), globalism and the New World Order.
Jesus made an intriguing statement found in the Gospel of Luke (21:26) "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth,” The day when these fallen angles the b'nai Elohim, the sons of God (ET’s) mentioned in Genesis chapter 6 are revealed, men’s hearts will certainly fail them.
The Antichrist will honor Satan, called Baal, Lord of Fortresses, Lord of the High Places, Lord of those who quickly fly (in the high places), Prince of the Power of the Air, and obviously Prince of the Power behind flying craft in the high places...UFO’s. Baal is identified as Satan by Jesus himself, Matt.10:25, Mark. 3:22, Luke 11:15.
Jesus Christ explained to his apostles what events would immediately
precede his second coming, "It shall be exactly as in the days before Noah
entered the ark". Matt 24:38 , Luke 17:27. What is the significance of
this statement and how does it relate to UFO’s? The Flood epic Gen. 6 begins
with a strange account of the "sons of God" (b'nai Elohim), taking
wives from among the daughters of Adam.
"In those days giants (nephilim) were in the earth, the men of
renown of whom ancient tales are told".The word which is translated,
"giants", in the King James version of the Bible is, in Hebrew,
"Nephilim", which means, "Those who fell, or ... the fallen
ones". Jude, the brother of Jesus describes them as "angels, having
left their first estate in heaven". These fallen angels came to earth for
a serious purpose.
The "fallen ones" sought to merge with the bloodline of Adam, because of the promise to send a redeemer through Adam's kinsman. The Hebrew says that the Sons of God saw that the women were a fit "extension", for they sought to extend themselves into this realm from the spirit realm, as well as to extend themselves into the "children of the promise" the lineage of Adam. Satan tried to prevent the eventual birth, in the distant future, of the Messiah.
The mating of human beings with angels resulted in hybrid creatures, evil spirits with human bodies. The human \ angel hybrids began to corrupt and destroy the human race, resulting in the Deluge, "the end of all flesh" except Noah and his family.
Scripture uses other names to describe these degraded fallen angels and their
descendents in addition to the word Nephilim, they are:
- Rephaim - from the root rapha = spirits, shades Gen. 14:5
- Anakim - race of giants Num. 13:33 descendents of Nephilim
- Emim - the proud deserters, terrors, race of giants Gen. 14:5
- Zuzim- the evil ones, roaming things Gen. 14:5
- Zamzummims - the evil plotters, Deut. 2:20
- Zophim - watchers, angels who descended Num. 23,
- Sepherim - the many. . . .
Something Wonderful:
A Biblical response must be given to the public when these UFO’s, Extra Terrestrials Entities are revealed to the populace. Will the Body of Christ the Church Universal be present when Antichrist is finally revealed?
According to the Scriptures (2 Thess 2:2-14) the Apostle Paul illustrates something wonderful pertaining to the Church which is the Body of Christ Universal.
"Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion (apostasia) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the (Third) Temple of God (in Jerusalem), proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you this?"
The departure or rapture of the Bride of Christ, the true church is what allows the Antichrist to be revealed, because the restraining power of the Holy Spirit in the present age is exercised primarily through the church. The removal (rapture) of the church at the beginning of the end-time period is known as the pre-tribulation, pre-millennial view of eschatology.
It is reasonable to suppose that the Lord will return for his church at a time of intense pressure on believers causing many to abandon their faith and at a time when the church's witness has been rendered mostly ineffectual. Paul's discussion continues, "And you know what is restraining him (the man of sin) now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains it will do so until he is taken out of the midst. And then the lawless one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing (Epiphanies) and his coming (Prussia).”
The return of Christ has two aspects: his silent, unseen return for his church and his coming in glory with his church seven years later. Both aspects of his second advent are combined as one event in 2 Thessalonians 1, and in 2 Peter 3. This difference in the two aspects of Christ's return is reflected in the Greek text of the NT by the use of different words. Parousia is from the word para meaning with or alongside of, and ousia, being, hence being with, "coming and remaining with" someone. (Matthew 24:3,27,37,39; I Thess. 4:15, 5:23; II Thess. 2:1; James 5:7,8; II Peter 1:16,3:4; I Cor. 15:23). Epiphaneia from epi and phaino means a shining forth. (This word is used in I Tim. 6:14; II Tim. 4:1,8; Matt. 24:27, II Thess. 2:8; Titus 2:13). Both words are combined in II Thess. 2:8. Jesus will destroy the man of sin by his "appearing" and his "coming."
The coming of the lawless one by the activity (energeian) of Satan will be with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, and with every deceit of unrighteousness in those who are to perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. On account of this God will send upon them a strong delusion, for example the lie that ET’s created mankind and are here to save us! Making them believe what is false (literally the lie); so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
According to a careful interpretation of this passage, God the Holy Spirit (present in the world through the Body of Christ, through the minority of true Christians acting as salt and light), is the restraining force in every generation preventing the appearance of the Antichrist.
The removal of the true church leaves only an apostate church on earth. After the calling out of the bride of Christ, there is no longer any force restraining Antichrist, so he is free to appear accompanied by a widespread of incredible deception and even great supernatural miracles will accompany the rise to power of this final incarnation of evil in a human being, commencing when "the full number of the gentiles has come in" to the church. (Romans 11:25)
Israel will once again become the center of the stage for God's view of history, as she was before "the times of the gentiles" began in the Babylonian Captivity period 600 BC. The prophetic time of Jacob’s Trouble will be set in motion as described in the book of Daniel’s (9:27) what is known as the 70th Week of Daniel.
Antichrist’s full identity will not be totally disclosed until the Body of Christ (the Church) is removed. Until then we are only given specific details in Scripture regarding the arrival of Antichrist. For believers their interest should be in the appearing of Jesus Christ instead of the appearing of Antichrist.
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” (Titus 2:11-14)
