As the days of Noah… the return of the Nephilim

One of the pivotal points Jesus made concerning His second return, was that the days would bear a resemblance to the days of Noah. (Matt 24:37) “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

Most people including serious students of the Bible are unaware of the peculiar circumstances that led to the Flood of Noah. This has been widely misunderstood (and mis-taught) for centuries. The strange but critical going on are among the most controversial issues among serious scholars.

To examine this astonishing period of prehistory, we need to examine the precedent events as recorded in Genesis chapter 6:

"When the human population began to grow rapidly on the earth, the sons of God saw the beautiful women of the human race and took any they wanted as their wives….

….In those days, and even afterward, giants lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with human women; they gave birth to children who became the heroes mentioned in legends of old." (Genesis 1, 2, 4)

This strange passage describes the bizarre circumstances that led to the cataclysmic disaster of the famous Flood of Noah. The Hebrew term translated “sons of God” is B’nai Ha Elohim, a term consistently used in the Old Testament for angels.

When the Hebrew Torah, which of course includes the book of Genesis, was translated into the Greek in the third century before Christ (giving us what is known as the Septuagint translation), this expression was translated angels. With the benefit of the best experts at the time behind it, this translation carries great weight and it was one most widely quoted by the writers of the New Testament. 

The book of Enoch also clearly treats these strange events as involving angels. Although this book was not considered a part of the “inspired” canon, the book of Enoch was respected by both rabbinical and early Christian authorities from about 200 B.C. through about A.D 200 and is useful to authenticate the lexicological usage and confirm the accepted beliefs of the period.

The book of Enoch states: “And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied, that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of heaven lusted after them, and said to one another: Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of man and beget us children. And they (the woman) became pregnant and brought forth giants, and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and the beast, and reptiles, and fish and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless one.”  (Enoch 6: 1-2, 7:1-6)

The Biblical passage in Genesis refers to supernatural beings intruding upon planet earth “the daughters of men”  "Benoth Adam,"  in Hebrew literally “the daughters of Adam” refers to the natural female descendants of mankind. The sinful supernatural alien beings apparently mated with human woman and produced unnatural, superhuman offspring!

The term translated “giant” is from the Hebrew word “Nephilim,” and literally means “the fallen ones” (from the verb nephal, to fall) In the Septuagint translation; the term used was “gigantes” or earth born. They are also called “Hag Bibborim” the mighty ones, or hero, or chief-man.”

Before continuing an extremely important Theological clarification must be made… Jesus stated: "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven." (Matt 22:30-31; Mark 12:25) 

What some people do not understand, nor really want to deal with, is how the fallen angels who left their inhabitance in heaven could have sex with the daughters of Eve (Jude 1:6-7)

It is really simple when you understand that Paul the Apostle wrote that angels have the power to change their shapes, and even appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) Fallen Angels have the ability to morph and size themselves accordingly.

They possess the ability to change energy into matter!  This could be seen in Exodus when Pharaoh’s sorcerers turn their rods into serpents. (Ex 7:11-13) “But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.  For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. And Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said.”

What makes this whole subject interesting even more amazing is that all major civilizations, in their myths and legends trace their understanding of history back to the time when the gods had sex with the daughters of men producing gigantic offspring who became the legendary figures of history!  The Greek demigods throughout Greek Mythology we find that intercourse between gods and woman yielded half-god, and half- man Titans, or hero who were partly terrestrial and partly celestial. Hercules is but one good example.

In light of the historical analysis of the Nephilim, yet many able scholars hold to a different view of”the line of Seth” conjecture. Many students of the Bible have been taught that Genesis 6 refers to a failure to keep the faithful line of Seth separate from the worldly line of Cain.

This idea is advanced that after Cain killed Abel; the line of Seth remained faithful while the line of Cain became ungodly and rebellious. The “sons of God” are deemed to be referring to the line of Seth, “the daughters of men” to the line of Cain, and the resulting marriages blurred the separation between them. (Why the resulting offspring are called the Nephilim is still without any clear purpose)

The sons of Seth and the daughters of Cain interpretation obscures the intended grammatical antithesis between the sons of God and the daughters of Adam. Attempting to impute this view to the text flies in the face of the earlier centuries of understanding of the Hebrew text among both rabbinical and Early Church Scholars.

Furthermore, the term “daughters of Adam” does not denote a restriction to the line of Cain, but indicates that many of Adam’s descendants seem to have been involved. In fact, these “daughters” are the same as those referred earlier in the same sentence! What about the sons of Adam were they innocent?  Why were they not spared the judgment?

Perhaps even more to the point, procreation by parents of different religious views does not produce unnatural offspring.  Believers marry unbelievers may produce “monsters,” but hardly superhuman, unnatural, children! The lexicological antithesis clearly intends to establish a contrast between the “angels” and the woman of earth.

Now, we come to the bottom line. Satan and his fallen angelic cohorts sought to corrupt the human race’s bloodline. It was their intent to avert their doom and destruction by trying to keep the promised Savior of the world from being born (Genesis 3:15).

Satan was so successful in corrupting the human bloodline that he came within eight souls of succeeding. Genesis 6:8-13 states that Noah was a just man who was perfect in his generation, meaning Noah and his immediate family were the only descendents of Adam and Eve who had not had their bloodlines polluted by the fallen angels.

To put it bluntly, there was a gene pool problem! Satan and his fallen angels had so sexually corrupted everyone that God had to destroy everything except Noah and his immediate family and the hand-picked animals that God brought forth to the ark!

Jesus made it very clear that during the last days, or the time of His second coming, those days would mimic the days of Noah.  The devil and his fallen angels and unclean spirits along with their willing human counterparts are now using genetic engineering and alien abductions to reproduce a human hybrid as were in the days of Noah.  

The famous 1961 Betty and Barney Hill Abduction is a classical case of human experimentation.   The Hills were taken into separate rooms during their examinations. These "tests" involved both physical and mental procedures. As part of these tests, skin, hair and nail samples were taken. Betty had a long needle inserted into her navel, and was told it was a pregnancy test. Under constraint, Barney related that he had given a semen specimen.  Reports of babies being taken from their mother’s womb are common in these abductions. Some have testified of seeing their own child aboard these spacecrafts.

Are we witnessing what Jesus clearly has spoken about what will take place during the last days?  I truly believe that a cosmic deception is about to unfold. The Apostle Paul earnestly warned the Church in Thessalonica:  “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

(2 Thess 2:3-4)

The word falling away in the Greek “apostasia” means to forsake, a defection from the truth, (apostasy).  I am concerned that once these UFO’s and their occupants are revealed to the public it will initiate a paradigm shift in everyone’s spirituality, causing them to will follow not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but instead follow the “Gospel According to ET!”
